[edit] Finding the Trail Head
Take I-70 west from Golden and exit at Evergreen Parkway. Follow Evergreen Parkway toward Evergreen and turn right on CO-103. Just past the turn off for the Echo Mountain Ski Area, park in the long dirt turn out on the right (overlooking the top of the ski lift). The trail head is across the road near the beginning of the turn out (the trail sign is nearly invisible from the road).
[edit] Description
The trail is short and steep, switching back through pine forest. The top is a bit of a scramble up a pile of boulders.
[edit] Experience
The view from the top is spectacular in every direction.
