[edit] Finding the Trail Head
Take US 285 to Conifer, turn right onto Foxton Rd. (CO 97), cross under the highway, and follow it for 5.5 miles. The parking lot is on the right.
[edit] Description
The trail starts with an easy hike across mountain meadows before climbing up a valley through pine forest (Oxen Draw Trail). The Eagle's View trail is an easy climb up to a long ridge. The return trail (Raven's Roost) follows an old dirt road and is very steep.
[edit] Experience
The current Park map is out of date. The Eagle's View trail has been extended to loop back to the Raven's Roost trail as shown on the map. Note that the the smaller loop where the Oxen Draw trail connects with the Raven's Roost trail isn't shown.
